We all know the excitement when you open the box with your Christmas tree, take off all the decorations and instantly you have memories flashback from the years before. Last year, I bought this amazing white Christmas tree and I was so happy with it! this year I have opened the box and start decorating while singing and watching Christmasy movie! Proper Xmas spirits, I am telling you!
Until my two furs get into it…Mia and Maru, completely destroyed it! I left the room only for a second to come back and find the tree broken in half on the floor! While both two trouble makers pretend they had nothing to do with it!
Next day, I went shopping to find replacement and I was left with nothing, as all my local stores sell them out! I hit internet and luckily find LAST ONE online in Homebase! We opt this time for a solid and really good quality one! I hope the two won’t get into it!
Back home it was our tradition in my family, to decorate the Christmas tree on New Years Eve. My mum was occupying the kitchen cooking, while me and my brother were decorating our tree. We were always fighting to who is putting the last bit-the top! My brother is the lazy one 😉 so it was me who always end up putting all the festive bits while he eats all the sweets! Guys argh…
Now, while living in my apartment I have my own little traditions! We had landlord furniture for quite a while and this year I decided to unscrew the tables and buy new ones. It changed the whole appearing of the living room and I totally love it now! The only thing that I don’t like in my living room now is the leather sofa and dining table. I find these two dated and lack of design touch. My perfect Christmas is seating on comfortable sofa, while watching tv with xmas tree behind me, my cats on my lap while drinking mulled wine! Perfect! All I need is really new sofa! My dream is to get a corner one with fabric! I have created not a while ago my living room wish list for 2016 and you can see there is corner sofa. I am not fan of my leather, two seater one. It’s old and not comfy at all. I want proper one like the fabric sofas here.
Luckily Furniture Village created fab competitions and guess what? I am definitely taking part in it and I think you should as well. Its so easy it’s unreal! All you have to do is head toward Christmas Countdown page and play with revealing rooms and there hidden gifts you can win including sofa of your choice up to the value of £1500!! It sounds amazing doesn’t it? I love this competition so I am definitely taking part in it! Don’t forget to check the Twitter as well! #FVChristmasCountdown
Back to my Christmas tree! I have re-used my decorations from last year, which was I think from Sainsburies advent calendar (I know, right?) plus even older baubles but I thought it was so stunning and really matched the theme I wanted to go for. I have displayed my top for tree and in lack of time i have used Primark hook! Some may find it weird but I LOVE IT!
I am also very exited as I got new MacbookPro this year! Yay! It’s a less of surprise as with such a pricey gift, it had to be decision of me and my boyfriend together. I needed desperately new one as my old one crushed. It last me 5 years! I am little sad as I do get attached emotionally to objects! I know not everyone is fun of white trees but how do you like mine?

I also want to share some christmas ideas of other bloggers with you . I have chosen my 4 favourite xmas posts that other bloggers shared with me! Let’s start with Maxine decorating her mantle piece. I am little jealous here as I don’t have fireplace and I would love one! I think Maxine did great job! Check out yourself. Next up is yummy chocolate spoons by Ashley, she posted an easy tutorial how you can make it yourself! Check this one! How about a little Retro Xmas? Phoebe really surprised me and I loved her ideas of retro ideas for gifts and spirits! it remind me the xmas I remember when being a child (Oh I know, I am old 😉 have a look here at her post! Last, I wanted to share Karen ideas. She has very specific style and I like the old school type of photography, even if she go for modern IKEA & Habitat decorations she still bring them in her specific way to make Christmas her own, oh and the mulled wine! Read here.
Happy Xmas Everyone!

I love white Christmas trees! Fingers crossed for the competition 🙂

Your tree looks fab! My kittens last year knocked my tree over so many times. I really don't know how it survived.

I think your tree looks fab. I usually prefer green, but I've seen a few white ones on blogs now, and they do look good. Great competition – we need a new 3 piece suite – ours was faded, saggy and old even before we had N but decided not to change it with a baby/young child

I am so jealous of your macbook pro!! Your tree is so lovely too, Merry Christmas! Xx

You and I have the same style tastes 😀 I grew up with a corner sofa in the family home but when I moved out and into my own place with my boyfriend he got the final say on the sofa because he was paying. I've always hated our giant brown 3 seater with scatter back. I'm hoping next year when we move again we will get a new sofa and this time it'll be my choice, a beautiful cream corner sofa 😉
