Perhaps, many of you noticed that I recently been in London at least once a month. I travel there for events, workshops or to see my clients for a design and styling services. Every single time I have the opportunity to go to London, I am super excited because I just simply love the London vibes plus it’s another occasion to dress up and take some cool outfit photos. My outfit it’s a mix of my favourite colours, pink and grey which became my statement pieces as well as my ripped jeans, so London got a bit of that as well.
Last week, I was kindly invited by IKEA to join press events and workshops which you could probably see on my Instagram stories. It was honestly the best 2 days of my life, so stay tuned for a post about it next week.
After the IKEA adventure was over, I headed to Nothing Hill gate station to meet Emmylou, a Manchester based photographer to take some photos and take advantage of the pastel vibes at the Portobello Road. (the houses are dreamy!) Check out her page and hey, if you are Manchester based Emmylou is working with bloggers and you can see yourself how great photographer she is. (After all, I am not a model and I have the duck face;p) so she did brilliantly! Plus, we had so much fun!
. Fashion location tip: Navigating London during a short city break might sound like an impossible task, but it doesn’t have to be! With a simple itinerary of top places to visit you can make the most of what London has to offer. I always do, as once you are going, why not take advantage and mix A) whatever you do in London with a B) cool photoshoot in a C) great location you found through guides? it’s easier this way than trying to connect to WIFI while underground subway while panicking and trying to find a super cool place to do a photoshoot. Be organised ladies! It pays’s off.
I don’t know why, but I always dress up for London. It’s an automatic thing like I would do when I was 10 years old and I was going to church on Sunday. The day before I would go through my wardrobe and carefully check each piece and if my shoes are perfectly polished so the priest won’t give me a nasty look, neither that women on my right in church aisle. I dress up for London, like it was always a fashion show too, picking what I have the coolest in my wardrobe.
So, to London, I wore pink and grey outfit. I wanted to match the pastel pink walls. You know that I own pink 😉 I love my Zara coat, and received so many compliments about it. You can see the coat closer at my post should you be a blogger, YouTuber or an Instagrammer? but this time I have paired up my coat with pink Converse trainers from CountryAttire, ( they had fab deals on most wanted brands, plus since been twice now on their blogger event, it’s cool to know their brand ethos <3 and they so nice!) I also wore my blue ripped jeans and quirky Zara top with inserted shirt. (Endless love for Zara) As an accessory, I only got my cat headphones from UrbanOutfitters new New look scarf ( That I lost and found 2 times now!)I got from woznow.co.uk recently, check out their page for all designers sales! Like amazing sales and all brand in one place!) I love my simplicity, yet coolness of my outfits. I don’t wear Prada, Gucci or Mulberry but I do like my style. Self-love after all 😉
