The transition from summer to Autumn can be challenging, due to constant weather change. Mornings become very chilled but day times we can still enjoy the lovely sun spells. You end up layering up with a cosy jumper, just to arrive in the office looking like after your first PT session.
So, how to stay stylish and on trends this season?
When you hit the shops, it’s quite difficult to desire what to buy. You can see multiple colours, many styles and is so easy to but items, that looks cute on the hangers, but impractical. I prefer to shop online, with a plan, budget and look goals, as this always helps me stay stylish, and save some pennies ( and trips with returns!).
I have created a few tips and wanted to show you few cute looks, for this season so you can dress warm, arrive in work looking as you just stepped up from a catwalk, and be prepared for the constant weather changing.
Think of budgeting and planning.
Before you start adding items to your online basket, think of a plan. Seat down with a pen and notepad. Write down your budget you able to spend on this seasons and calculate how much monthly you can spend. Once you know, write the sum in one column, month by month. Next thing write down a list of what you need to buy an example: boots, jeans and coat etc. Once written look again, and start planning your capsule wardrobe ( which means mix and match) instead of buying 2 pair of boots, see if you can use one for two or 3 outfits. Once you have the essentials we can go to the next tip. If your budget is low and you want to save some pennies, think of a way to pay like Klarna or sign to where you can buy now, and pay later. Just keep in mind your finances and make sure you can pay it off and won’t get yourself in debts.
Have a look at your style.
It’s easy to go to shops, and just walk to so many different stores ( who offer different styles) and buy way too many items that don’t match or are impartial in this weather. Even if that cute dress in floral pattern looks awesome, it will end up in your wardrobe until summer, and you never know if the size will fit you change your mind and it will end up on online auction. Perhaps, create a mood board of pictures you found or look at this season trends of TopShop at Very with so many inspiring looks. You can print these, and put them together ( as I did for you) for your Autumn Trends Moodbard. You can also buy make-up range online which is handy and you can create these at the same time.
